I'm happy to hear that you like it! Believe me, I'm all for exciting drum riffs, but I wanted to give this piece a simpler, more naturalistic percussive sound. It's the sound of slapping the body of a guitar mixed with a Cajon Drum and a couple other odds and ends. The idea being to focus on the guitar melody and strummed harmonies, with the drums being a secondary, though still very important part of the overall sound. A sort of "less is more" approach, as it were. Plus a sprinkling of piano, of course. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a quick review! ^_^
